The Central West Catchment Management Authority (CMA) Knowledge Strategy was reviewed in a full-day workshop in Wellington NSW on 19 April. The workshop was facilitated by Tracey MacDonald, a Catchment Coordinator with the CMA, and Bruce Boyes from ARRC. Jess Miller and Steve Pearson from the CMA also assisted by facilitating table groups.
Bruce had previously given Knowledge Leaders training to Tracey, Jess, Steve and another CMA staff member Rod Campbell. In the training they learnt about the Information and Knowledge Strategy process detailed in the ARRC Information and Knowledge Resource Kit (IKRK), including the “Review, planning and continuous improvement” stage of the Strategy process. Central West CMA was one of five NRM organisations that worked with Land & Water Australia in 2007 to pilot the Information and Knowledge Strategy process.
